Choosing an individual car
A Corolla, Prius, Octavia, i30 or Model 3 is a comparison candidate, not a guaranteed winner or automatic premium-category entry. Compare rent, consumption on your route, condition, luggage space, comfort and replacement-car terms. Check the battery and service history for hybrids/EVs, and installation documents for LPG. Check current city SCT rules and entry eligibility before buying.

Model, year and vehicle documents
Uber publishes UberX from 2005, Comfort from 2018 and Black from 2020. Bolt lists maximum ages of 20 years for basic vehicles and 10 for Comfort/Premium. Eligibility also depends on city model lists, seats/doors, condition and driver requirements. Confirm the specific car before renting. Taxi documents and markings, inspection, OC and the correct extract require separate checks.

Energy cost on your route
Example, not current prices: an EV using 18 kWh/100 km at PLN 1.20/kWh costs PLN 21.60/100 km; a hybrid at 5 litres and PLN 7.80/litre costs PLN 39; LPG at 9.5 litres and PLN 2.95/litre costs PLN 28.03. Over 1,500 km: PLN 324, 585 and 420.38. The EV/hybrid break-even energy price is about PLN 2.17/kWh under these assumptions. Include charging losses, travel, waiting and the actual AC/DC price mix.
Rent, lease or own
Compare rental, leasing and ownership over the same period and mileage. Include rental exclusions, limits and early-exit costs. For leasing include deposit, instalments, buyout, insurance and commercial-use/subletting conditions. For ownership include capital, depreciation, repairs and resale. Do not count both the entire purchase price and depreciation as the same expense. The result depends on actual offers and tax treatment.
