Taxi licence in Bydgoszcz: documents and fees 2026
Card UMB175 covers licensing, changes and suspension. It includes the December 2025 update to local taxi markings and maximum fares.

Licence and extract fee
For the city alone, 2–15 years and one vehicle: 200 zł + 10% for the vehicle + 1% for the extract = 222.00 zł. This is an administrative fee, not the full startup cost. Duration, vehicle count and territory affect the amount. Budget separately for examinations, markings and translations.

Application documents
Download the current application and vehicle/driver lists from the city card. Prepare good-repute documents, KRK, Polish driving licence, medical and psychological certificates, vehicle documents and the right to use it. Check the card for foreign-national documents and translations. KRK costs 20 zł electronically or 30 zł on paper; the electronic original is a signed XML file, not a PDF printout.

Vehicle extract and licence area
The competent authority issues the vehicle extract on the carrier’s application. A partner hands it to the driver rather than issuing it. A taxi licence covers its named municipality, municipalities under an agreement, or Warsaw. Taking a passenger outside does not grant unrestricted local pickup rights; Article 6 sets specific exceptions. Renting a car or registering in an app does not replace the required authorisations.
